Madeira is a paradise for nature lovers, offering a range of experiences suitable for all ages. We traveled with our three-year-old daughter and found it very family-friendly. You’ll find charming pebble beaches and hiking trails that start nearby.

Madeira boasts a wide variety of hiking trails, catering to all skill levels and distances. During our visit with our daughter, we tackled two hikes that were 5 km and 3 km long. These trails were manageable and not overly challenging, even for a young child.
